CORENET, EU4ADVICE AND CLEVERFOOD AT THE BIOEAST COUNTRIES CONFERENCE
COREnet, EU4Advice and CleverFood will host a Conference and Policy Workshop on 4th December 2024, at Central European University, Budapest, Hungary.
The conference, organised as a side event of the Partnering for the Future Conference, is dedicated to exploring innovative pathways for strengthening local food systems across the BIOEAST region, enhancing regional food security, sustainability, and resilience.
The occasion aims to bring together policymakers, researchers, farmers, and key stakeholders from the agri-food sector to discuss collaborative solutions and develop actionable policy recommendations.
The policy workshop will be held in two distinct sessions. The first session, organized by the EU4ADVICE and COREnet projects, will focus on local food systems, while the second, led by the CLEVERFOOD project, will delve into innovations in food systems.
On the COREnet side, the project will present Golden Cases, successful cases of SFSC knowledge sharing system from across Europe, and successful practices of short food chain in general, and will be represented by Trebag.
Participants should register for the session most relevant to their interests, and to come prepared with existing policy solutions from their home country. Additionally, they are invited to share any insights, statements, or recommendations related to the workshop themes.
