STRENGTHENING SFSCS NETWORKS: CORENET AT THE TRAME INNOVATION FORUM

On April 2nd, 2026, Trame held an Innovation Forum, bringing together around 60 participants from farmer networks, research, and partner organizations to exchange on the future of agroecology and local food systems.

The French NGO Trame is a national network dedicated to supporting agricultural development through farmer-led groups, advisory services, and knowledge exchange. It works to strengthen collective dynamics and foster innovation in rural areas.

Anne-Cécile Brit (INRAE), co-facilitator of the RMT Alimentation Locale (French SFSC Network) attended the forum as a representative of the COREnet project, with the aim of strengthening connections between European and French networks working on SFSCs.

The forum itself featured interactive formats, including an “information market” and a “world café,” where participants discussed key themes such as value chains, territorial approaches, mutual support, and farmers’ well-being. These exchanges provided a valuable opportunity to connect COREnet with ongoing initiatives and identify synergies with actors involved in SFSC.

Throughout the day, she engaged with a wide range of stakeholders – particularly agricultural advisors and network facilitators – to raise awareness about COREnet and explore opportunities for collaboration. This outreach is essential to ensure that knowledge and tools developed at the European level effectively reach practitioners supporting farmers on the ground.
