CORENET CONTRIBUTES TO AKIS ADVANCEMENTS IN MADRID
COREnet at the 3rd AKIS Coordination Bodies General Assembly
On April 22nd and 23rd, COREnet participated in the 3rd AKIS Coordination Bodies General Assembly organized by the ModernAKIS project in Madrid, Spain.
The assembly brought together experts and stakeholders from across Europe to address key aspects of Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS), focusing on crucial topics such as the state of AKIS implementation in member states, the definition and significance of advisors, and the current status of advisory networks’ implementation.
Representing the COREnet project at this significant event was Christian Jochum from LKO, who fostered constructive dialogues and exchanges with national AKIS coordination bodies, facilitating valuable insights and collaborative opportunities.
In collaboration with our twin project EU4ADVICE, a successful presentation was delivered within the framework of projects dedicated to the implementation of advisory networks. During the assembly, the pivotal role of advisory networks was highlighted, with seven networks already established and further expansions anticipated in the future.
