COREnet attended the conference at Romanian Academy – Institute of Agricultural Economics in Bucharest, Romania, from 23 to 25 September 2025
At the XXI Conference of the European Rural Development Network (ERDN), held at Romanian Academy – Institute of Agricultural Economics in Bucharest, the COREnet project was presented to an audience of researchers, academics, and rural development experts.
Juliana Carina Bagetti represented the Italian COREnet team from the Department of Economics at the University of Foggia during the conference titled “Food systems transition for sustainable rural development”, which focused on the future development of rural areas, modern rural communities, and the valorisation of endogenous resources. The session served as a excellent platform to introduce the main project’s goals – including the organisation of the EU SFSC Advisory Network the promotion of stakeholder engagement and peer-to-peer learning on short food supply chains (SFSCs).
The conference was as an important opportunity to showcase COREnet to the European rural development community and to establish valuable connections with peers addressing similar challenges.
