Don’t break the chain and read the 3rd CORENET & EU4ADVICE joint newsletter!
Dear subscribers,
EU4Advice and COREnet are proud to continue working together towards strengthening advisory services for short food supply chains (SFSCs) across Europe. The synergy between the two projects is progressing smoothly, and promising results are already emerging, thanks to the strong cooperation among all partners.
As highlighted by COREnet Project Manager Fedele Colantuono, ”the synergy with the twin project EU4Advice is going smoothly and great results are on track thanks to the joint efforts among all partners.”
Among the latest shared achievements, he recalled his participation in the BIOEAST Conference (Budapest, 4 December 2024), where it was possible to present the joint efforts and engage in policy-level discussions with representatives from various EU countries. On this occasion, the projects also had the opportunity to provide some of their first inputs on policy recommendations for the implementation of an EU-wide SFSC advisory network.
Focusing on COREnet, Hungary was the hosting country of the 4th COREnet European Roadshow — a successful workshop held in a small, remote village in rural Hungary. The event showcased the value of supporting local farmers and exploring new ways to valorise their territories.
Fedele Colantuono shared, “This event gathered more than 100 participants from many Hungarian counties, all eager to learn more about SFSCs and share their experiences as advisors in this field. The COREnet project was introduced to the participants, who also found the Golden Cases presented by partners from Belgium, France, Portugal, and Romania to be inspiring for further discussion and for understanding the differences in advisory services across countries.”
These efforts allowed the COREnet team to share project results with a wide range of stakeholders, creating valuable opportunities for interaction and networking, with the overarching goal of attracting SFSC advisors to join the emerging EU advisory network.
Fedele Colantuono
