NEW TRAINING MATERIALS FOR AGRICULTURE EXPERTS AVAILABLE ON AKIS CONNECT PLATFORM
AKIS Connect has launched a comprehensive collection of training materials designed to enhance skills and knowledge in the agricultural sector
AKIS Connect is the digital space for agricultural actors to network and share experiences about bringing the AKIS concept into practice & policy, including innovation support services.
It has been developed under the EU funded projects ModernAKIS and ATTRACTISS, to expand its training materials and provide users with an enriched collection of resources.
This is part of an ongoing effort to enhance professional development and promote best practices in agricultural systems and related industries. Such repository is aimed at professionals, educators, and stakeholders looking to improve their expertise in areas of agricultural innovation, sustainability, and best practices in SFSCs.
As highlighted by the ModernAkis representatives, the Platform now offers 4 e-Learning modules about the AKIS, available in several languages, and more are coming. The resources cover a wide range of topics and are accessible in various formats, including online courses, webinars, and detailed guides, providing a look into the foundations of systems thinking and practical tools for understanding and diagnosing AKIS. Built with interactive, self-paced content in mind, they’re perfect for policymakers, researchers and farmers, today available at akisconnect.eu | Training materials for all AKIS actors.
In line with such initiative, the COREnet project will soon follow by developing a set of learning modules on SFSC, included in the “COREnet SFSC Advisory Guide” and contributing to the overall framework of training materials available. The Guide will provide timely, clear, and trusted advice to both food producers and consumers and those promoting SFSCs, translated into different EU languages, and accessible to advisors throughout Europe in different formats.
